Privacy Policy

Supamotiv (“we”, “us”) turns car photos into showroom images for UK car dealers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law. Questions: hello@supamotiv.com.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address and, if you give it, your dealership name.
• Dealer accounts: your name, dealership name, email, phone number, login details, plan and credit balance, and the logo, plate text and sign wording you set up.
• Photos you upload: the car photos, and the images we make from them. Photos can show number plates and sometimes people or buildings.
• Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and browser) needed to run and secure the service.

Why we use it

• To tell you when Supamotiv launches (waitlist), with your consent. You can ask to be removed at any time.
• To provide the service you ask for: processing your photos, saving the results, taking credits and supporting you (performance of a contract).
• To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix faults (our legitimate interests).
• To improve the service, including training our own image tools, using photos and results from dealer accounts (our legitimate interests, and described in our Terms).

Number plates

A number plate can be personal data. We only use plates in your photos to process them as you have asked (for example replacing them with your own plate design), and we do not look up or share plate details.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use carefully chosen service providers to run Supamotiv, who handle data only on our instructions. They fall into these types:

• Cloud hosting, database and file storage providers
• Image-processing and AI technology providers, used to process your photos
• Email and website services

We can tell you which specific providers we use if you ask us at hello@supamotiv.com. Some providers are outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision. We may also share data where the law requires it, or as part of a sale of the business.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until we have launched and contacted you, or until you ask us to delete them. Dealer account data and photos are kept while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your photos, results and the copies we keep to improve the service.

Cookies

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and the site working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes we will ask first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@supamotiv.com. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for big changes, tell account holders.
